Yes, but the FTC will not let Google merge with Yahoo (Anti-Trust stuff you know…).

Well, same as what above guy said, expect I think no because didn't they bid on a spectrum that they were gonna give free phone service for?
I thought they were pretty much spent at that point.

yeah, they probably can, but the FTC, SEC and the regulators wont approve it because of what the first person said and they are basically the same thing.
I think the FTC, SEC, anti-trust regulators, and the feds will (more likely) approve a Microsoft - Yahoo deal over a Google - Yahoo deal because web search, advertising isnt really Microsoft's field of business. If you know what i mean
