My someone is arrangement a winkle website, or mayhap a php one and he wants me to change every of the companys choice settings with a slush of our own.

So, what applications module I requirement to modify it? I conceive dreamweaver and photoshop!

Flash? Well i am not sure that Dreamweaver can edit flash….

There should be a FAQ somewhere on the template company's website that tells you what software will be needed for each template.
Flash customization often means that you actually need Flash, because Photoshop can't edit it. Photoshop will be needed for the normal images. Dreamweaver for the page code itself.

Well, if you're buying a template, then you should only NEED a text editor and a (free/commercial) image editor (such as the GIMP or Photoshop). If you want to make the taske easier, I would recommend a WYSIWYG, like Dreamweaver, or even a free clone, like NVU or Komposer.

Yup, Dreamweaver and Photoshop sounds like a good combo. I also use Eclipse a lot, with the PHP plugin.

Adobe flash will do everything you need it to however this programme is not for the faint hearted its not the easiest of programmes to learn

well if u r using Flash in it then u also need Macromedia Flash.
For PHP u need PHP installation steps which are available at http://www.php.net and u can also refer to http://www.w3schools.com
well if u know PHP installation then it is good
but if not do ask me and well I think u will easily do
but keep in mind u need to do it on localhost for testing and then can upload to server and if u have a server then it is very good.
U need Apache Server for running PHP
u can also use IIS or any server u will find all in http://www.php.net site
u also need Dreamweaver and Photoshop for making a good site.
Well dont use too much flash as it makes the site heavy
u can use ajax
for it for quick and robustness
